Hi, I’m Jack, owner of Pintail Painting.

I grew up in a home where if something broke, we fixed it. My dad wasn’t in the trades professionally, but he took pride in maintaining our home and property, and that mindset stuck with me. All of my brothers went into construction so working with your hands was always part of life.

I started painting when I was 18. Over the years, I worked in different roles within the construction industry, including sales and project management. I even tried selling insurance for a time, but I realized I didn’t enjoy work unless I could clearly see the value I was providing. Painting was different. The results are tangible, and the impact on a home is immediate.

As I gained experience, I noticed the painting industry sometimes struggles with communication and consistency. That played a big role in my decision to start my own company. I wanted to build something centered on quality work and clear, honest communication from start to finish.

I officially launched my business this year here in the Flathead Valley. Starting out has meant introducing myself to homeowners and earning trust one project at a time. In a community like this, reputation matters, and I take that seriously.

I hold myself to a high standard. I won’t leave a project if I’m not satisfied with the quality of the work, and I believe homeowners deserve clear expectations and follow-through.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and a dad. I enjoy mountain biking, fly fishing, hunting, and learning how to backcountry ski.

This is home for my family, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work in and serve this community.
